We design, manufacture and fit wardrobes from one place — our own factory and showroom on the Kelvin Industrial Estate in Greenford. Below are the areas we are asked for most, and what the housing in each of them tends to need. Every photograph is real UKB work.
Why the area matters to a wardrobe design
West London was not built all at once, and the differences show up in the bedrooms. A Victorian terrace in Ealing gives you a chimney breast with an alcove either side and a ceiling near three metres. A 1930s semi in Harrow gives you a box room over the stairs where a standard wardrobe eats the floor. A new flat by Hayes & Harlington gives you no alcove at all and one usable wall. Those are three different design problems, and the reason made-to-measure exists.
